Performances are sporadic and do not occur on a regular schedule.

We have a very limited number of openings and a long waiting list of artists. We do our best but can’t guarantee a response to inquiries. Don’t take it personally if we don’t respond. Try again later.

Check out the Soup & Sound history of past performances and artists to see if you fit in with our interests and artists–if you don’t recognize the names of artists who have performed here there’s a good chance you’re not going to be a good fit for us.

Generally we are oriented toward adventurous approaches combining various elements of jazz, improvisation, classical, and experimental music with occasional multi-media performances involving poetry, other writing forms, dance, and visual media. Smaller, quieter groups work best in our space.
